Senior Network Engineer
Description
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver project implementation service and maintenance support service to the customer
- Manage progress of the projects implementation and identify, resolve and escalate issues to vendor, customer and internal parties
- Prepare the test plan, implementation plan and migration plan
- Conduct site preparation, equipment staging, installation and commissioning, network acceptance test and project document upon completion of the project
- Provide product operation training to customer
- Review the daily field service reports and take improvement actions
- Coach the engineers in the way of service delivery and improvement on their technical skills
- Verify the network documents for completed projects/installation; and
- Perform miscellaneous duties at the supervisor's request
Responsibilities
- Degree or Higher Diploma holders in Telecommunications, Electronics, Information Technology or related disciplines
- More than 6 years of relevant working experience in related technologies
- A quick learner to explore new technologies and solutions
- A good team member and leader with good communication skills
- Good problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills to deal with vendors and internal parties
- Hands-on experience with large-scale implementation and support
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- In-depth hands-on technical knowledge of routing and switching and wireless network technology and product knowledge of Cisco, Huawei, Aruba, or Ruckus.
- Preferably have associate-level vendor certificate in Cisco, Huawei, Aruba, Ruckus or related enterprise-grade network vendor
- CCIE holder is preferred.
